China is increasingly becoming a source of investment for tech businesses especially in sectors that fit with China’s strategic goals. However, there are some distinct requirements from Chinese investors that Western entrepreneurs should be aware of and aim to address, if they would like to increase the likelihood of success of raising funding from China. At this pre-roadshow meeting, Crayfish Accelerator anchor investor DBI will talk about the market, tech trends and investment opportunities in these sectors in China, and also how to engage with the Chinese investors.
This event initially was designed to be a roadshow which you can meet and interact with the DBI team from China in person. However, due to the current novel Coronavirus outbreak, the Chinese investors are unable to travel to the UK to attend this event physically. Hence, we have made new arrangements to convert this event to a Zoom conference meeting. The DBI team will join this event virtually from China via online connection.
Once you have registered to attend, you have the options to choose whether to attend this conference in person at the venue stated on this page or join us virtually via an online connection where you can dial in directly regardless of your location. Connection links and details will be sent to you shortly after we received your attendance confirmation with your selected joining option.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to make a short introduction to the investors at the event. If you are interested in introducing your company on this occasion, please send your company deck (presentation slides) to firstname.lastname@example.org latest by this Friday 14th February.
