Fluent Bilingual Chinese Marketing & Customer Service Assistant
Salary: £16,000 – £20,000 plus incentives
We are an early stage technology startup, with an online marketplace founded by experience professional practitioners with a clear vision to change the way businesses can interact with the growing demands and desire to trade with and in China. Our aim is to connect businesses, clients, with bilingual freelancers to conduct any project, anytime, anywhere – so taking care of their needs for doing business in China.
Given the unique business opportunity, we have launched our platform crayfish.io in the UK a few months ago, and we are now growing our business rapidly and extensively – creating and delivering a traffic-driving marketing plan, delivering the world class customer service and developing the websites to be best in class.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join this team. If you are an ambitious passionate person who wants to start a career in both online customer service and digital marketing then this job will be ideal for you.
Reporting into Marketing VP, you will:
-Take care of our SEM and SEO delivery, and responsible for the traffic acquisition for the website
-Manage social and CRM platforms
-Be part of the delivery of social content plan and calendar, to ensure consistent, inspiring experiences
-Facilitate PR events and liaise with media partners
The other half of this exciting role is in Customer Service. Working with the Customer Service Manager, you will
-deliver timely customer service via email and phone to the users of the platform
-manage the backend of Crayfish.io online platform, troubleshooting or dealing with technical queries about the platform.
-carry out regularly analysis of users data and feedback into our marketing team
You don’t have to be an expert in these areas already as we will train you. You have the opportunity to learn from seasoned Chinese business experts. You will be gaining experience in working within a digital and marketing led environment, using the most up-to-date digital platforms, and immersing in an entrepreneurial working environment. We do expect you to be a fast learner!

You will need to have the legal rights to work for full time in the UK.

-Experience with any type of CRM systems a bonus

This is a full time role although it is possible for part time to start with
Start date: late March / early April
On the job training will be provided
Working hours 9.00am-5:30pm Mon to Fri
Occasional after hours customer responses will be required for urgent enquiries
The position is based in the prestigious St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge.
