Crayfish.io strengthens its capabilities with two high-calibre advisor appointments

Crayfish.io has further strengthened its capabilities with the appointments of Terry Ho and Linda Jiang as senior advisors.

Specialising in IPO, fundraising, investor relations, finance and corporate restructure, Terry brings over 25 years’ experience in the Asia capital market to the team. He maintains extensive network resources in both China and Hong Kong and will provide invaluable commercial expertise as well as financial and corporate strategy advice for our clients.

After qualifying as a chartered accountant in London, Terry worked for Ernst & Young Hong Kong before becoming Director and CFO of Xtep International Holdings Limited, helping to build it into one of China’s top sportswear brands. In 2008, the company was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with an IPO market capitalisation exceeding US$1 billion, raising US$270 million in the offering.

Over 10 years with the sportswear company, Terry has amassed more than 100 awards including Best Listed Company Executive Director, Best CFO, Best Investor Relations, Best Corporate Governance Listed Company, Best Value for Shareholders and Best Listed Company Annual Report.

Speaking about his new role, Terry said: “I have strong insights and understanding of what it takes to build a successful business in China, and look forward to working with the Crayfish.io team to ensure their clients have the strongest go-to-market strategies in order to succeed in the Chinese market. Linda Jiang, meanwhile, specialises in China business expansion in the technology space which will be invaluable support for the Crayfish.io Accelerator programme as lead mentor. Linda has spent over 15 years’ developing and running innovative new operations at successful tech startups and global companies including Alibaba and Samsung.  She has a proven track record in building ecosystems and bringing new mobile, big data and AI products to a global market. She was co-founder of Comet Labs, a robotics and AI accelerator in Beijing and San Francisco; and also co-founded Umeng and drove its growth to become the largest mobile analytics platform in the country (acquired by Alibaba).  Linda holds an MSc Cognitive and Decision Sciences at UCL and an MSc Business Information Systems at Royal Holloway University of London.

Linda explains of her appointment: “I am excited to join Crayfish.io and help British tech companies to go to China.  Crayfish.io provides both the platform and the accelerator programme that bridges the gap between innovation in the UK and massive market opportunity in China.”
