Contract manufacturing in China - Shortlisting manufacturers

How do you assess and shortlist manufacturers who can do your contract manufacturing in China?

You will have already a list of possible contract manufacturers in China from an initial research exercise. The next stage of information collection and assessment is important to make sure you do end up with the right choice of contract manufacturers for contract manufacturing your product.

This service will include making contact with companies in your raw list to confirm their contract manufacturing capability for the particular product or component that you require, qualifying their interest in undertaking any engineering and/ or production customisation for you. Verification will also be done to relevant genuine manufacturing quality certificates (e.g. ISO). By the end of this process, you will be ready to move to the next stage: a request for quotation from the shortlisted contract manufacturers.

Deliverables:

You will get a shortlist of up to 5 contract manufacturers in China that have confirmed their interest to carry out contract manufacturing for you and who meet your selection criteria from the assessment. 

Each company will come with a detailed deck of information including the company’s main contract manufacturing range, production facilities/ equipment, credentials and certifications, along with their main contact person names and details.
